Michigan chased it's win over Michigan State with a loss to Arkansas. The first half of the game was brutal for Michigan with misses shooting the ball and some easy turnovers. The second half went better, especially for defense, though it wasn't enough to win the game.

Michigan State performed very well against Purdue. Some blame Purdue's problems on their travel difficulties in getting to the game, but MSU played a tight game.

Western Michigan defeated Central Michigan with Nate Hutcheson scoring 17 points and achieving eight rebounds. Although Central Michigan rallied, Wester Michigan held on to their lead to win the game.

Eastern Michigan bested Toledo thanks to Quintin Dailey's 3-pointer. Eastern Michigan has won six straight in the series between the MAC schools.

Oakland fell to Oral Roberts. While Oakland led at half-time, its streak of 10 victories when leading at half-time was snapped.

The University of Michigan delivered a heartbreaker to Michigan State this week. It was a rough loss for Michigan State fans.

Michigan and Michigan State aren't the only Michigan college teams having and exciting week. Central Michigan women's basketball lost 73-60 at Eastern Michigan. Saginaw Valley men's basketball saw a loss of 72-52 to Ashland. Oakland University enjoyed a victory over IPFW 96-86.
